So what exactly is a community and how does it differ from a congregation?

A congregation or "church" as it is commonly called is merely ONE component of a community.

Ariel Messianic Springs Community is a place anyone who loves the Torah and YahShua may live, thrive, grow and learn but they will be expected to pay for part of the mortgage and utility payments and to do specific chores assigned to them to help maintain Ariel Springs Messianic Community.

Have you ever dreamed of living in a completely self-sustaining Torah-based, Spirit-filled community of believers, a safe-haven that not only offers what any congregation offers, but also a place to call home in every sense of the word?

Ariel Messianic Springs Community is based on the model as used in the Acts of the Jewish Apostles (Book of Acts). All members of the community have all things in common, as they share their combined income to pool together resources and help sustain the community. By helping to pay for the mortgage and utilities, you are given whole-food, organic meals, beautiful land to explore, a place to sleep, study and commune with others, and the eventual gift of being able to build your own home on the property.

Is this a Jim Jones or David Koresh type of deal? Absolutely not. In fact, guns will be forbidden on the property unless they are specifically used for only hunting purposes.
